Training regarding public procurement management for PSB Nepal staff

February 11, Kathmandu: A three-day basic training on public procurement management for employees of Public Service Broadcasting (PSB) Nepal began at Singha Durbar on Wednesday.

The training is being conducted in coordination with the Public Procurement Monitoring Office. Around 35 staff members from the finance, administration, commercial, and engineering divisions of Radio Nepal and Nepal Television are participating.

Heads of provincial broadcasting centers, along with accounts and administrative staff, are also attending the training virtually.

Officials from the Public Procurement Monitoring Office will provide sessions on legal provisions, procurement planning, cost estimation, tender procedures, document preparation, and contract management.

Speaking at the opening session, Manoj Chaudhary, chief of the financial administration division of Radio Nepal, and Tara Prasad Wasti, chief of the training department, expressed confidence that the training would help streamline procurement processes within Public Service Broadcasting Nepal.
