Following a decision made at a Radio Nepal management meeting, Radio Nepal’s Executive Director Amar Dhoj Lama appointed Dahal as the editor of the online portal.
In addition to his new role, Dahal has also been leading the reporting department of Radio Nepal.
Likewise, Arjun Sapkota, who has been working as the English news editor, has been given the responsibility of the sub editor of the online news portal.
The launch of the new online portal, ” www.radionepalonline.com ” , is designed to enhance Radio Nepal’s digital presence, making it more accessible, professional, and competitive in the online space.
As Radio Nepal and Nepal Television move forward with plans to merge into a single public service broadcasting entity, the new portal will feature content that reflects the diverse issues and interests of all communities, sectors, and groups.
Furthermore, Executive Director Lama also informed that the development of a new ‘Digital Radio Studio’ has already begun, incorporating feedback and suggestions from the audience.
