Dhanusha, November 3rd 2016 : Preparations have been over to welcome visiting Indian President Pranab Mukherjee in Janakpurdham, said the visit management committee.
President Mukherjee, who is on a three-day state visit to Nepal, is scheduled to arrive in Janakpurdham on Friday, the last day of his visit.
A total of 91 welcome gates have been constructed from Janakpur Airport to Tirahutiya Gachhi with big portraits of President Mukherjee put up at the entrance.
Likewise, main gates, electricity poles and street walls have been decorated with national flags of both Nepal and India while the city has been cleaned.
Rostrum has been constructed at Tirahutiya Gachhi and security tightened, said the visit management committee.
A special security arrangement involving Nepal Army has been managed during President Mukherjee’s Janakpur visit, said Chief District Officer Dilip Chapagain.
Nepal Army has been assigned to provide security at Tirahutiya Gachhi and Janaki Temple where President Mukherjee is scheduled to visit, he added.
